I did get to see all the cats. Onyx was unsettled; she was up in the tree and then up on top of the chicken coop. Athena wanted to be left alone, per usual. Yeller was hiding.
When I got home, the chicks were trying to beat the heat under the tractor. Once they saw me, they jumped up and started going all over the place.
I loved on Yeller. He is the cuddliest cat. I did notice all 3 of the outside cats can live amongst the chicks and not attack them. I am so happy about that. It’s good to know. All things should be able to get along, I know that does not happen, but it could and should.
The animals are all doing fine.
I was able to pet on May. She did not love that.
I did give the pasture goats some chicken feed. Interesting fact, Hercules will only eat out of my hand if Lucky has not already eaten out of my hand. That goat just stinks.
I went back out later and would have sworn there was a baby calf out in our pasture. Turns out it wasn’t. But, I was out in the pasture, so Willow and Mattie got some attention.
As I went back toward the house, the chicks were all already in the coop, so I shut the gate.
