October 28, 2025

The pumpkin did not really get completed, so I did not take it to work. I did print out a picture for the residents to see. I am sure they will get a kick out of that. I hear laughter is the best medicine.
Yeller was cuddled up in the hay. I have got to get a doghouse. I am going to do that today. It is supposed to get cold tonight.
The horses were getting along eating this morning. I am glad to see they are getting along more.
After work, I did get a doghouse. The minute I put that down, Onyx went into it. That right there makes me grateful I bought it.
The cats did all eat together again today.
All the animals wanted the chicken feed today. Lucky got some through the fence. Pedro did, too.
Alex and Jasper ate well. Alex is tired of fighting with the donkeys over feed. He will eat until they come over. I gave Alex some petting.
Ted was doing a little better. Not a hundred percent, but better. At least that is what it seems to me.
A few of the chicks were hanging around. They are getting more comfortable with the remaining hens we have.
Ted did get another shot.
Bella was not having a great day. She was mad this morning. Ronnie told me it was because they could hear coyotes in the early morning hours.
I got the doghouse stuffed with hay for the night. Athena went right in it. I am hoping Yeller gets in it, too. The doghouse is big enough for all 3 of the cats, if they can get along with each other.
I was petting May. She does not like that.
Ronnie was giving the donkeys and goats some attention. I went over to give them some attention, too.
Hopefully all the animals will be okay in the cold tonight. We have taken all the precautions for them.

October 27, 2025

This morning was so foggy. You could barely see anything. I just see the weather changing.
The chicks are learning more to use the roost.
Yeller was curled up in the hay. I have got to get him a doghouse. Athena was in the shop.
Later Yeller was on the porch with a chick. Oreo was close by also. That makes me laugh. He dogs had to see what was going on.
The cats were all eating together. Yeller even was able to eat in the same bowl with Athena. That is almost unheard of.
Pedro ate out of my hand. He is so gentle with me, unlike Hercules. The goats all got some chicken feed, too. Carlos and Lucky had to eat through the fencing again to stay away from Hercules.
The pigs are all good.
Sonny boy has been acting like his leg is hurting him again. I am sure it is with the weather acting like it is. Hot and cold, hot and cold.
Alex is still eating better.
Athena was all over the place. She was up on the hay bale. Watching her climb up there was sure interesting.
I did worm all the pigs. Those pigs will fight over the pumpkin I use to worm them. They are so entertaining. I do have to watch them. Some of them will try to get me. The pigs are not known from being patient. I did get them all done. The only animals left to do are 4 horses.
One of the chicks ended up with the rest of the hens. She did not stay there, but the chicks are learning. I want them to start roosting with the rest of them.
Ronnie and I did give Ted some medicine. Hopefully he will be fine. We will give him antibiotics for the next few days.
