Josephine is an awful mom. I hate to say that. I hate to even think that but it’s true. This is her second clutch of eggs to hatch and she has not been able to keep many of them alive. She just leaves them behind. She has kept them in the hottest spot on the farm which is why I think the chicks are dying. I am hating this so much. I know it’s nature but that does not make it easier. I’m hoping she does keep a couple alive. I say four and Ronnie says three will survive. I guess we will see.
