Noma was laying down early this morning. The little goats were trying to get attention from Mattie and Willow. Jeb was also laying down enjoying the sunshine.
One of the animals had turned on the water faucet outside and part of the yard had started to flood. What a mess.
I did get to see all the cats. I was happy to see them. I did notice a funny thing. The shop chickens do eat the cat food, but they will not eat the green morsels of food. That was all that was left for the cats. I wonder what the green morsels taste like to them. I guess we all can be picky in life if we want to be just like those chickens.
Poor Lester looked like he did end up with some frost bite from the cold. It does happen, but I hate it.
Sonny boy came over and ran Lester off. He’s a jerk. Lester is the most docile rooster we have, so the other two have it out for him.
We have not lost anymore chickens, thank goodness. They did come out to eat this evening.
The donkeys were all surroundings Ronnie while he was watering the pigs. That was a sight to see. I guess they were interested in what he was doing.
Cinderella was so happy for food, she fainted. She does not fall over anymore. her muscles seize up and keep her in the one spot unable to move for a few seconds.
I saw a black widow today. I hate to see them, but we have them all over our property. I mean, we are in West Texas.
One of the hens either laid an egg in a weird spot or one got kicked and broken in the sheep pen. Snowflake was eating what was left of that egg.
The horses are doing well.
Jasper was desperate to get to the donkey feed, but Mattie was kicking at him. Jasper kept looking at me to step in, but I do not want any part of that.
That Athena amazes me. She can fit through the smallest opening to get where she wants to go.
It looked like the cats were getting along today which is rare for some reason lately.
