February 8, 2025

I went out Saturday afternoon thinking I may not have needed a long sleeved shirt since it was supposed to be 84 degrees. When I stepped out of the house I knew the cold front was coming through and I went to get a jacket. Temps around here fall fast. Being prepared out on the farm is important. Being prepared in life is important, too.
The cats were all smart and went into the shop. They did not stay there, but they should have. It’s warmer in there.
I did give the donkeys and goats some feed. I do that on occasion when the weather starts to change. They do appreciate it though. Seeing them happy makes me happy.
The sheep did not like their bowls separated. It caused some confusion, so I put them back the way they were. Routine is important to most animals, and people.
Momma May is still being a pain in the shop. She is an old lady, but she is a mean old lady. I wish she would stop being so rude
The tumbleweeds are serious around here. At what point do they blow away?? I guess we will see.
Noma made it over to eat with her kids today. That’s good. She has not been herself lately.
