February 11, 2025

As I was leaving for work, I look out and would have sworn Jen was in the neighbor’s field with the cow or the cow was in our pasture. I even had Ronnie come outside to look. He thought the same thing. It really looked that way, but it turns out my eyes were playing tricks on me. What we see may not actually be what is going on. Make sure you look more than once if you find yourself in doubt.
It was chilly out today. Jeb was full of energy. The cows and donkeys are almost out of hay, that will be fixed soon. Lucky ate chicken feed out of my hand. It always surprises me since he doesn’t like humans. The pasture donkeys and goats were close to the barn taking the chicken feed.
Pedro gave me some attention. I do think he knows he is my baby.
The whole crew started following me as I made my way out of the pasture. I think they love me. They did end up getting some hay since it was cold.
The little goats let me pet them today. That’s rare. It happens only on occasion. The sheep wanted some attention. I started cleaning their noses and they changed their minds.
Daisy and Bella got new blankets. They were happy to be inside on them since it was cold out.
I saw Onyx and Yeller, but no Athena today.
