Prada Bullying

Cinderella has been bullying Bill for a long time, we all know that. When we put Prada back into the pen with Cinderella and Tinkerbelle, Prada went after Cinderella. I mean, after her. She was banging her head on the fencing. She chased Cinderella around, etc. I don’t like bullying, but it does seem like Prada is getting Cinderella back. 

Separated

Ronnie and I separated Louie and Prada. We put Prada in with Tinkerbelle and Cinderella. We put Bill in with Louie. Prada has been in with the girls before so she knows how that goes. Bill has not been in with Louie before, but I am hopeful that goes well. It was sad to watch them be separated and neither of them liked it either, but it had to be done, for now. After we get Louie fixed, we can reunite them. 

Daisy and Snowflake

I wish Snowflake would stop taking her baby into the backyard. It is really a matter of life and death and she does not realize it. I am yelling at Daisy every time I see her eyeing that baby. If you do not remember from last year, she ate the baby chick Olga had. It was such an awful experience to see. I wish I had not witnessed that, but I did. Snowflake continues to take her baby into the backyard and I keep on yelling at Daisy, I guess this is how that is going to go. 

Louie Growing.

Louie is growing up. He. Is getting to the point where he is not playing as much and he is becoming of age, you know. All I can say is uh oh. I am sad about it, but I knew it would happen sooner or later. I had no idea they grew up so quickly. That is crazy to me. I do not like it. Ronnie and I will have to separate him and Prada soon and will have to get him castrated soon, too. I do not like any of that, but if you have ever smelled a goat who has not been fixed, you would be okay with it, if you were not planning on breeding anyway. 

Turkens

I am still desperately missing Tina, but I am so grateful I have the other Turkens. They make me so happy. I wish I knew what it was about them, but they all have such winning personalities and I love to watch them. They are all doing well and they are all happy and healthy. They are amazing. 

All the Cats

All the cats have been home. I know it is hot and gross outside, but they are all hanging in there and they are all doing fine. I am glad they are all still here and happy. Home is where they should be. 

Banana

Well, I was sure happy to see Banana home. I only see him sporadically. It has been super hot outside, but he is doing well. He has been hanging out like normal. I am just glad he is still around. I am glad he is healthy and knows he has a home. 

Home

All the animals were doing well when we got home. I had 2 friends checking on them while we were gone. Everyone was well and accounted for. I am so glad. I know they are well cared for when we are gone, but it does hurt me to leave them sometimes, even when I need a break. 

Baby Chick

While we were gone, I got a text about a baby chick being born. I knew Snowflake was sitting on eggs, but she finally hatched one out. That poor girl has sat on many clutches of eggs and not been able to hatch one baby. She finally hatched one baby out. My friend said she hatched another one, but it had died. But so far, the one baby was doing well. 

Trip

Ronnie and I went to Alaska. Let me tell you, that trip was amazing. Alaska is so beautiful and we had a great time. Randi and Oscar made it that much better. We got to be on the Alaskan water and got to see starfish, jellyfish, otters, sea lions, seals, whales, puffins, common muurs, sea gulls, and a glacier. It was such an amazing boat ride. We also got to see some countryside and other things. it was just amazing. We also got to see Mt. Rainer in Seattle at the airport and Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens in Portland. It was a great trip. We have now seen 34 states in our quest to see all 50 states. I did not get to see the Northern Lights, but that is okay, the trip was amazing anyway. 

Bags Out

I got my suitcase out to pack to go on vacation. Ursula and Oreo know what that means. Neither of them likes that. They both were trying to get into the suitcase. It does hurt my heart to see them being anxious about us leaving, but I also know I need a break. My mental health needs a break.
