Egg Production

I was starting to think egg production was down due to weather changes. It is down a little and that is probably why but they have started finding new places to lay eggs again. These chickens make me crazy sometimes trying to find all the eggs. We definitely do not need anymore chicks running around. They are trying to hide them from me, but I think I’m finding them all. We are still getting about a dozen a day, but with as many chickens as we have that should be laying, that seems low. However, these poor hens are struggling since there are so many roosters around. I feel bad for them.
