Molting

Now is not the time for the chickens to be molting but sure as the world that is what’s happening right now. I saw a hen a few days ago who literally had a bare butt. She is growing her feathers back out in time for the extremely cold weather to be here. These poor chickens and losing their feathers, they look miserable. They probably are miserable.
