I saw the cats this morning. I do not usually go out in the morning, so I got to see them extra today.
I made sure Sonny boy was in a good spot and then went to get ready.
The donkeys were in the barn this morning since the sun was not up yet.
The sunrise was beautiful. It always is here, though. Be thankful when you see a sunrise. The new day is a gift.
The shop chickens are staying out of the shop more often. It is good to see.
The wind was sure picking up this evening.
I got to see all the cats this evening, too. I did not think I would see Athena, but I did on my last check of the day outside.
Sonny boy got attacked by another hen. He looked sad. I loved on him and made sure he ate and drank some water. Tinkerbelle decided to eat with Sonny. I did leave him in the shelter for the night because the wind was supposed to be bad again tonight. I pulled out an old box we used for Rena when she had a dislocated leg and put that in the goat pen to use for Sonny after this windstorm.
The donkeys are goats were out in the pasture as the wind started coming in.
Oreo was playing in boxes again. What is it about a cat and a box?
The windstorm did get rough. Those are not fun. I checked on Sonny and he was content in the shelter with the goats, so I left him in there. Athena was checking things out in there also.
The wind had emergency alerts going with the wind above 50mph. Ursula did not let the noises bother her, she was calm and relaxed. I cannot say the same thing about me.
