Today was awful with the wind. It was dangerous conditions due to the dust and wind. We lost a food trough for the cows, all of our sunshades will have to be replaced, and we have trash everywhere from the dumpster that opened up during the wind storm. The positive note of this is, we still have our roof (some don’t), we did not loose our electricity, and all of our animals were where they were supposed to be. Always look to the positive in a negative time. I do know that is easier said than done.
I did see the cats. They were fine.
The cows had to share their feed trough, it is apparent we will have to buy a new one.
I will order new sunshades tomorrow for sure. Those things are needed badly around here.
The donkeys in the pasture were the smartest animal on the farm, they were in the barn staying out of the wind.
Noma allowed me to love on her.
