Penned Up

We had to pen up the donkeys so we could get the vet out here to do their surgeries. I cannot tell you it was fun because it was not fun. They are easy to get in the barn. If you put hay and water in there, they go willingly. These guys were penned up for days. They did not appreciate it. I was happy they did as well as they did, but I knew they were ready to get out of there. I hate to have them penned up since I don’t know what they have been through in the past. Since being here, they go where they want to and they like that.
