Flinching

I was up close to Noma and was petting on her. Every time I would put my hand up, she would flinch. That in itself broke my heart. She has no reason to fear me. I have never put a hand on her except to show love. I know this girl has been through something terrible. I just wish I knew how to help her. I want her to feel safe here. She will live her life out here. She will not be harmed here. I just feel for her. She is loved, I wish she knew it.
