The cats were home when I got home. That is always something I look for.
Lester was over in the pasture area today. That is not where I usually see him.
I emptied some feed bags into there bins for feeding time and one of the chickens had pooped all over it. I got that all over me. The smell was terrible.
The pigs were all patiently waiting for their food. I sure do love being around them. Those guys just make me happy.
The farm was looking good. The animals were doing well.
The goats were all doing fine stealing the chicken feed.
The donkeys were way out in the pasture.
Melody is such a pretty chicken. She was enjoying some fresh water I had just given them.
Bill is still doing well. I am grateful for that. Mattie and Willow were checking on them today, too.
The chickens were stealing the goat feed. I do not know why that makes me laugh, but it does.
The donkeys all came out of the pasture to get some water.
Daisy was trying to steal Maggie’s food. Maggie decided to eat it all before Daisy could get it.
I found another cracked egg. One of those chickens is laying eggs that does not have enough calcium and the shells do not form as tough as normal. Snowflake was happy about that.
I gave the pigs more straw for the upcoming colder weather. They sure do like for that to happen. I like to watch them. Darla gets really into it. She loves to tear that straw apart and put it where she wants it.
Ronnie went to give the horses more hay and Chief came right through the gate and into the pasture where the cows and donkeys are. Chief does not like any of them. Luckily Chief walked back into where he was supposed to be.
The donkeys and cows also got a new hay bale.
I also put more hay into the chicken coop to keep them warmer with the weather coming in.
The sunset sure was beautiful. It is coming earlier for sure. The time changes this weekend.
Something was going on with Suzie Q. I do not know what. She was having problems with one of her feet. Just one of them though. I caught her checked her over, but I did not see anything.
