I got to see all the cats when I got home. They sure are cute. I am happy every time I see them.
The dogs are doing okay. Nothing new there. Maggie and Pepper have their good days and bad days, like all of us.
I had not seen Suzie Q even though I had seen her partners in crime. I was worried about her. I went on the hunt for her. It did not take me long to find her. She was curled up in the barn unable to move. She was still alive, but I knew she was dying. I gave her water and gave her a safe place to rest. I petted her and loved on her. I knew it was not going to be long. I thought she might last the night, but she did not. She was the matriarch of the chickens around her and she is now gone. It makes me so sad. I know she was old though. She was one of the chickens that was left here from when we moved here. I know she lived a good life, but that does not make it easier on me. It is interesting though, as she was passing away, her chicken crew and all the goats were surrounding her so she would not be alone. I just find that so interesting.
Bill and Ted are doing well.
The horses were all eating on that new hay bale they were given yesterday.
The pigs were slow to get up to eat this evening. I understand. I know they feel the weather changing. They did get up and move around when I got over there with the feed.
I am happy to see Sonny boy having his hens around him.
The female goats were still hollering at Lucky tonight.
Bella was being playful, but ended up making Yeller jump up into a tree to get away from her.
The sunset was pretty tonight.
