I never say I’m the smartest one around or make the best decisions, but if I see someone or something in need, I want to help. As I was going home from the store after work, I saw a beautiful brown dog running down a busy interstate. I also noticed another vehicle trying to catch the dog, so I joined in. I caught her with some food I just bought from the store. I knew I could not take her home, but the other man trying to catch her said the dog could go to his and his girlfriend’s house, the only problem was this diva dog would not go with him. She got in my car fine, so I took her to the other house so they could find her owners. It’s obvious she is someone’s dog and I hope they reunite.
The cats were home this evening.
Some chickens have been staying warm in the goat shelter. Chickens are smarter than people know.
Tinkerbelle has not been trying to get out of the fencing lately, but she did today. She came right back because I had food.
Mattie and Willow were waiting for food impatiently.
The cows and donkeys got a new hay bale today.
The pigs were lined up waiting for food.
The dust storms in West Texas are no joke. Tonight was no different. There is definitely a cold front coming in tonight. The animals were all fine though. They know how to take care of themselves. If only I would allow myself to remember that instead of worrying.
