Yeller was sunbathing on a tree stump. Onyx was staying warm in the hay.
I was glad to see someone using the doghouse we set up, even if it was a rooster. Fred did look cute in there.
The donkeys and goats were eating on the hay bale this afternoon.
Athena did come in to eat this evening.
Even Momma May, the oldest hen we have now is in the shop to stay out of the cold.
I haven’t wanted to talk about this and really still don’t, but we said goodbye to Pepper and Maggie. I loved on them and reminded them how much we loved them and what good girls they were. Both of them were ready. Neither of them were doing well and had declined over the last couple of years. It sure doesn’t take the pain away knowing they were declining. Make sure to tell those you love how much you love them and don’t take it for granted.
