Jeb was out in the corner of the pasture watching something. He was intently looking out there. I never did see anything out there. I guess that’s a good lesson to us, there are things around each of us we need to watch out for. 

It is finally becoming winter around here. The dogs are glad to be inside. Daisy and Pepper were even getting along. That’s something. 

I looked out the window. The animals were all laying down. They do that when the weather starts to change. 

The donkeys and goats were all out grazing. They were closer to the barn though. 

Pepper and Maggie are the best of friends. They have been for so long. It still warms my heart to see compassion between the two of them. 

The cats are all staying close to home. They are smart. 

The animals are all seeming to be getting ready for the weather to come in tonight.  The sky looks like wintertime. I guess it is, finally. 

Mattie and Willow are still aggravating the pigs. It’s a game to them. The other donkeys were watching closely. 

Pedro gave me some attention this evening. The other donkeys came to see me, too. 

The animals are doing fine. This is the time of year I worry about them the most.
