The chicks are getting closer to the road and staying close to the hay bales. That makes me nervous. I do not want them that close to the road.
Onyx, Athena, and Yeller were all home this evening. They ate together. They even laid down closer together than normal after eating.
Lucky allowed me to give him some chicken feed, and I even got to pet him for a minute. That hardly ever happens with the petting. He has never been a friendly goat. Hercules and Carlos also got some chicken feed. I cannot play favorites.
Gidget gave me some attention today. She sat on my arm and pecked on my earring. She is a pet. I hope she stays that way.
Athena is accepting of the chicks. She is still laying in the middle of them.
I found some random eggs. I am going to see if a hen decides to sit on them or not. I do wonder how long they have been there.
The pigs are all fine. They just seem to love life. I wish all of us could love our lives like they do.
Alex was eating his hay just fine. He allowed me to pet on him.
The donkeys were antagonizing the horses. I find that hysterical. Those donkeys do not care that they are upsetting the horses just by being by them.
Bella and Daisy are getting used to the chicks all being in the backyard. I am glad they are behaving. Sometimes I wonder about them.
Ted is eating, but very little.
I was able to pet May while she was roosted. She did not like that at all. I did not care.
Chief let me pet on him. He does not always, especially when he is eating.
Willow was making faces at me. I did catch it quickly on camera.
Yeller was in the pig pen. I have no idea what he was doing in there. When he crawled out of there, he went and sat in front of the other pen. I bet he was hunting birds. I hate to think of that.
Spam let me pet her. She does that from time to time. She was the slowest pig to warm up to me. I know she had been through a lot when I got her.
The stars were sure pretty tonight.
