What Roosters Do

We have three roosters and so many hens. I would think the ratio would be fine and the roosters would have plenty of hens. I’m not sure if that is accurate. We have around 40 hens and 3 roosters, if not more. We may have a few more roosters, but they are still babies. I know there is at least one baby rooster. Whatever the problem is, the roosters are tearing up the poor hens. It’s awful. The hens try to hide, but the roosters find them. The hens’ feathers are all coming out on their backs. It’s so sad. I hate it.
