Cinderella was sure digging into the hay this morning. She must have been hungry. I do know animals eat more when it is cold outside.
I got to do some cuddling with Raven. She did not like that at all. She is one pretty hen. The hens were all over the tractor this morning. It was certainly a pretty picture. They make me smile.
Onyx was being cute when she saw me. Athena was at home, too.
The horses were all eating the rest of the hay they had. They will get a new one tomorrow. It is once a week we put out hay for the animals.
The chickens are finishing up the pumpkin. I will have to get them some more. They really do like them.
The donkeys and goats were all lined up out of the sun against the barn. That is a new one on me. I do not even have a clue as to what that means. There are times, you just cannot make things make sense. I did get them to come over and let me pet on them for a bit.
Ursula was so comfortable on the quilt I am working on. She made herself at home. I think I will be keeping this quilt, so that is okay. Oreo was pretty cuddled up today, too. It was a lazy Saturday. I know I needed that.
Yeller was watching the chicks closely. They must be entertaining to him, too.
Hercules really likes the chicken feed. I had to show him there was no more in the container. He was not believing me.
The chicks were grateful for some food. I wonder when they are going to start laying some eggs. They sure are pretty girls.
Looks like Lucky may be in rut. He stinks all the time, so I never know, but the females have some smell going on now, too. I am ready for that to be over. Yuck.
I am not big on this time change, but I do see more sunsets when we are on this time schedule since it is so early. They are pretty.
I watched Willow trying to take some feed from Chief. Chief was not having that. A few minutes later, here comes Mattie trying to do the same thing. It did not work well for either of them.
