December 25, 2025

It is Christmas Day. I hope you are remembering the reason for the season which is Jesus. He is why we celebrate Christmas. It is not the gifts and all the food. Jesus is why we celebrate, remember that.
I did see the cats this morning before I went to work. They all seemed good.
The chicks were ready to get out of that coop. I gladly let them out to roam. They were all eating together like they liked each other.
I saw Banana run past the chickens while I was looking out the window. I was glad to see he was not hurting them at all. You just never know with a stay. He seems to be gentle, just scared and alone.
It was another foggy morning. Those can be dangerous out here with all the wild animals. You have to be careful. When you cannot see in front of you, you cannot know where you are going.
As I was leaving for work, I saw Banana. He was coward down by the storage building. I was able to get closer to him than I ever have. Ronnie was standing out there, too, and all he could say was that I was going to end up in the ER again over a cat on Christmas. I mean, it is not out of the realm of possibilities knowing myself. I think Banana is looking for a place to belong. I did make some progress with him, maybe one day he will allow me to pet him and love him and more importantly, take him to the vet to get fixed and vaccinated for his health. I also saw him chasing Onyx like he was wanting to play. It does seem to me the cats are allowing him to belong. Hopefully he will decide I am okay, too.
I did get to love on Yeller. He is the best little cat. I love to cuddle him. Best of all, he lets me.
The donkeys and goats were wondering around exploring.
I was standing in the way of the shop and one of the chicks just decided to fly up to my shoulder. That was new. I love it. I may have domesticated them too much, but I will keep it.
The donkeys and goats got some chicken feed and ate from my hands. I am careful with the donkeys, but they really are gentle with me.
Alex is starting to feel better.
The pigs are all doing fine.
