The chicks were happy to be having breakfast. It was cold out this morning. I was missing a chick, so I went looking. I did find her; she was fixing to sit so she could lay an egg.
The dogs must have listened to be yesterday because they behaved well this morning. That makes my day a little easier than being all angry and stuff before leaving for work.
Onyx was home when I got home. She was rolling around on the ground looking all cute. That cat is a mess for sure.
Cinnaqueen got up on my shoulder. She is such a pretty girl. She stayed up there for a bit.
The goats got some chicken feed. They have not had any of that in several days. They do not try to get the feed from Ronnie, just me. Go figure.
The chickens are sure all eating together again. That is a good sign. Maybe those chicks will finally go roost with them at some point. They are going to have to eventually when I get more chicks. We will cross that bridge when it comes through.
Spots and Jeb have become close. Chief likes to break them up. It is hard when 2 are close, the third one gets left out. I remember that from way back when and I guess animals are not much different.
The sheep are both still eating well.
Little miss Snowflake was beating up May to get to her spot and get May off of her roosting area. May jumped down to get away from her. I stepped in and moved Snowflake off that roost and May immediately got back up in her spot.
The sunset was pretty. I had a rough day again, so seeing something beautiful does help.
Willow was trying to get to Chief's food. Chief did not like that and let her know it.
I am glad Alex is up and doing well. I guess the change in the diet was good for him. I did get to pet him and Jasper.
The pigs are all doing well. They are just loving life. Loving life is a good thing.
Jasper started chasing Willow out of the hay. I laughed. I probably shouldn't have, but I thought it was funny. The small little chase did not seem to faze Willow at all.
Saverine has been taking advantage of the horses eating their food and her going over and getting some mineral. She did not get any feed today because she was getting the mineral. I know she will be fine, but she needs to eat, too.
