I walked out to feed Rena and Annabeth and found Annabeth had passed away. I was immediately wondering what in the world happened to her. I know she was getting up there in age, but she was younger than some of them we have. I was really sad. She was such a beautiful chicken. I hate it every time that happens. I was not sure what to do. I did not want Rena in the coop by herself. I find that cruel to leave her in the coop alone. I also know if I let her out, they are all going to gang up on her and fight with her. I did not want that either. I tell you; this farming thing is hard. I found a chicken who I knew I could catch; we will call her Angel. I put her in with Rena. I will say, it has been a rough start, but hopefully they will calm down eventually. I am going to cross my fingers and say a prayer about that. I want them to be able to get along.
