Looking Rough

My older hens are really starting to look rough. I know chickens do not live all that long, but my old girls do not look too good. I am hoping they hang on longer through the winter. It does make me feel terrible to see them like that. They are eating and drinking and continuing doing all the things they normally do, so I try to not be concerned about them, but I do watch them closely now that I have noticed them declining some. I want them to be happy and healthy. I do not want them to suffer. Wheezy is one of them looking rough. I sure do love that hen. She was raised with the goats at one time, but she made it. When you know something is coming, watch for it so it does not sneak up on you.
