10/21/24

I looked out the window and saw Maggie laying down to eat. She has always done that, but now it puts it all into a new perspective.

It looked like rain this morning, but of course it did not rain.

All the cats were home this evening, and getting along.

Maggie is just not feeling well today. She is still moving along though.

The goats saw me pouring out chicken feed and here they come, running toward the feed.

Olga and Ruth were in the shop. Ruth ran out and Olga was desperately trying to get out. Looked like she has some separation anxiety to me.

I did not intend on flooding the pig pens with water, but I got distracted and did it anyway. I was horrified, until. I looked at the weather for tomorrow. It will be almost 90 degrees tomorrow. All of the pigs look good and they look happy. Those are two important things to me.

The donkeys were in the back pasture loving life.

The weather is going back and forth from cool to hot, the animals are acting like it could be getting to them; watery eyes, coughing, sneezing. This means I must keep an eye on them.

The sheep are getting their wool all grown in. It’s getting to be that time of year.

I went out later to see if I could see some shooting stars, I did not see any.
Tinkerbelle was crying and crying, so I went to check on her. I think she was calling to Lucky (the only unaltered male on the property). She finally stopped.

The cats followed me around while looking at the sky.

The little goats got some attention, too.
