Jasper did act helpless. His tail was caught on the barbed wire. He did not stay that way long. I did not have to help him get free; he did it all on his own.
Alex allowed those kids to pet all over him. It was so sweet.
I was able to pour some worming meds on the cows. They did not much like it, but I did it anyway.
The weather is fixing to change again. The animals were all laying down more and have been lately. The donkeys were even laying down.
I cleaned out the pig pens. Gus of course wanted me to use the rake to scratch on him. I complied with his wishes. He is a spoiled brat.
I do have a hen sitting on eggs. I do not allow that too often as it produces more roosters than I need or want. But we have not had any chicks in a year, so I thought it would be okay.
Noma was not getting around too well today. I took her food to her. Later she looked scary. She was laid over like she does. She was fine, but she does not look fine.
I went out later and all the pigs in both pens were all in their shelters laying down. It was not even dark yet, but they were all cuddled in for the night. Russ was the only one that was alone. I had to go into the pen to make sure Russ was okay. He ran out to greet me when I came in. He even allowed me to pet him which almost never happens. Because I was petting Russ, Darla and Brutus wanted to be petted also. I did give them some petting as well. Bacon Bit allowed me to pet her, too.
I did see a scorpion on our porch. I really do not care for those things, but we live in West Texas.
The sky was pretty tonight.
