I got to see all the cats. They did a good job at staying dry. I was glad to see them.
The clouds were still rolling in. The rain was starting as I was feeding the animals. I did get it completed before the rain started.
The pig pens were flooded for sure. There was so much rain. I am grateful the shop was not flooded. The cows were in the shelter to stay out of the rain. The horses were all eating the hay. The donkeys were eating hay. The pasture donkeys and goats were out in the field. I gave Tinkerbelle and Cinderella breakfast in their shelter. I also threw the hay for the other goats and sheep in their shelters so it would not get wet. I am glad I did because it did start raining again.
It was Arkansas hot and humid today. Yuck. Most of the animals needed to lay around because of the heat. They did not care for that.
Ursula did go outside. That girl is such a mess. I don’t know what she really wants.
The cats were home when I got home.
The pigs were sure taking advantage of having all that water in the pens to cool off.
I have a hen in eggs. She is not moving from that spot. I saw Lester guarding her later. I don’t think it’s the same hen as yesterday.
Spots limp is better. I am now thinking it’s a cut on her leg. It looks rough. I will work on that.
Jasper’s abscess did drain some and now he is looking better. That makes me happy. He may not need to go to the vet.
