April 10, 2025

Ronnie is still out of town, so I was going outside to feed the animals this morning. I got to see all the cats, they were waiting on food, so at least I got to see them. The goats and sheep were ready for their hay and were all grateful when they got it. The sunrise was so pretty as I was out feeding. I even got to see a yellow bird while I was out early, I am not sure what they are, but I always look for them in the spring around here. The pigs were up waiting on their food. Pedro was the only donkey out of the barn that early. He gave me some sweet smiles. He knows I love him, so he walked over to me and then smiled at me. The cows and donkeys were eating their hay, so were the horses. You know, the normal morning routine. These animals know their routines as well as I know mine. Routine can play a big part in our everyday lives.

I got home and saw Sonny hiding under the bushes. I know he is still getting bullied. I hate that. There is no excuse for bullying. I did get to see the cats this afternoon also. The donkeys and goats were out exploring in the sunshine and enjoying the day. Mattie, Noma, and Willow were relaxing in the sunshine this afternoon also. Rena was in the laying boxes, and she allowed me to pet on her for a minute. Her and Annabeth are doing fine. I have figured out I need a bigger sunshade for Gus, Spam, and Treat; they are all trying to squeeze under one small one. The other pigs have been in the mud most of the day. Oreo must be missing Ronnie; he was up on the back of his chair tonight.

Ursula and Oreo got a new toy. I continued to hear this bird singing noise and I had no idea what it was. The dogs will bark and carry on when that noise starts going. Turns out the noise is that new toy. At least I know what it is now.
