I found a broken egg and gave it back to the hen in the shop. There was only one in the shop, which is odd, but that meant more for her.
I got to see Yeller and Athena roaming around this evening. The weather was nice, so they sure looked content. Onyx did finally show up later.
Mattie and Willow are two peas in a pod. I am grateful they are. In the beginning I had my doubts, but they have proved me wrong. Positive thoughts are better than the negative ones, we all need to remember that.
Pork Chop has started shedding or blowing his coats which is what it's called with pigs. He is the first one to start shedding this year. Last year I flipped out because it was just the one spot for a while before the rest of him started shedding. I thought something was wrong. Nope, just shedding.
This farm is my happy place. It may be work and expensive, but these animals make it worth it.
Olga was hiding in the shop for some reason. She really tried to be invisible, but I still saw her. I did not bother her though.
Yeller was in the goat pen getting some water. The cats just kind of go where they want to. Then he went out and laid down in the pasture.
Onyx was way out in the pasture. I could not figure out what was going on there. I kept watching her. I finally found out what she was stalking, there was another cat out there who our cat is not. She ran off that stray cat and followed her into our neighbor's pasture. I was standing over there yelling at her to come back, she finally did. Silly cat.
Mattie and Jasper got into it again over food. They can get ridiculous.
I had to get into the horse pasture to doctor Saverine's leg. There was a time I would not have been able to do that. I am grateful I am over that fear. It was time.
