April 15, 2025

I saw Athena out and about this morning. Onyx and Yeller were more relaxed and laying around.
The sunrise was pretty this morning.
Tinkerbelle is having more arthritis. She has difficulty getting up and down. Poor girl. She is struggling. That is what happens in old age, I guess. Enjoy life to the fullest while you can.
Mattie has figured out how to open the gate where we have a walk way from the backyard to the animals. We are having to latch the gate now. He is too smart for his own good.
I got to see a bunch of yellow birds this morning. They are so pretty. I actually look forward to seeing them in the spring.
The moon was still out this morning. It was so pretty. Pedro came over for petting and the moon was behind his face.
The pigs were trying to get me to hurry up with their breakfast. All of them squealing and throwing a fit. They do not like to wait.
Athena was in the pig pen for some reason. I bet she was hunting birds. I cannot think of any other reason behind it.
I have noticed Hercules and Pete becoming good friends. They are cute. Pete is laid back and Hercules is the opposite of that. Humans are the same way with different thoughts and personalities, so that that into account when meeting new people.
The animals all seemed to be having a good morning. They make my mornings better also.
The cats were all home this evening. Each of them was in their own spot. Athena was in the sheep pen, Onyx was watching the chickens, and Yeller was in the backyard.
Jeb is still running Saverine. I do not know what to do about that. I know he is trying to play, but she does not want to play. That's the difference in ages. He is young and she is not. They are in two different stages of life. Takua still stands up for his mom and gets in between them. I am glad he does.
We are working on mud holes for the upcoming hot weather. One of the pig pens always has a mud hole. The other pigs let the mud hole fill in for some reason. We are working on it though.
Yeller found a hiding place under the wheelbarrow I turned over to dump out the water. I guess he decided he wanted some peace and quiet.
