I did see Yeller and Onyx as soon as I walked out the door. That is a good day already.
I fed the chicks. They are growing up so fast. It will not be long before they will be out of that coop and running around with the other chickens.
May is staying close to the opening in the wall to get some cooler air. I am just glad she is doing fine.
I did see Athena later in the day.
May was moving around more today than she has been.
Hercules was literally playing with Pete's tail. That to me is either brave or stupid, I am not sure which one. It cracks me up either way. Pete allowed me to pet him for a long time. He does not normally do that, but he did today. I took advantage of that. I want him to trust us. Trust does not come easy to anyone. Pete and Mattie were face to face over the fence. They seemed to be talking without saying a word. Willow was giving me faces while Mattie and Pete were nose to nose. She makes me laugh. I did pet on all the other donkeys as well. Ronnie was even able to get close to Pete today.
