I did get to see all the cats this morning as I was out feeding.
I went out to water the apple trees and almost stepped on a snake. It was just a brown grass snake, but it took me a minute to register that. I was a little scared there for a minute. I got over it once I realized the snake was not going to hurt me.
The animals were happy to get food this morning. They were also happy the temps were cooler. It is still not as hot as it usually is and I am so happy about that.
The chicks were on my back again. That still makes me laugh. They are all doing fine.
The donkeys and goats were out in the pasture acting like they did not have a care in the world.
Fred was still in the shop. He does not look any better. I do not have a clue what is going on with him. I know there is something going on with him though.
I got to pet and love on all the donkeys. The goats were in the barn staying out of the sun.
Pedro was in the fencing off of the barn. I thought something was wrong with him, but there was not anything wrong with him.
I went on with feeding and watering and I saw Jeb laying down. I started hollering at him and he got up, reluctantly. I am just glad he got up. I know the animals are trying to stay as cool as possible.
Spam was covered in mud. I know she was hot. She was cute though.
May is still hanging in there. She is a tough older bird. Sometimes being tough is the only thing you can be in the tough times of healing.
Tinkerbelle got some petting. She did not want me to stop petting her. She is such a sweet girl.
It was hot for sure.
As I was feeding, I started seeing clouds coming in with thunder and lightning. It did rain, but not much. It was a nice little shower.
The chicks were still up on my shoulder.
The sunset was pretty after the rain stopped and the clouds went away.
The chicks have learned to sleep in the doghouse. That makes me happy.
