The cats were all home this morning.
May was up and moving around. That is progress all the way around. It sure made me happy to see her trying to walk around. Be happy about other people's progress and cheer them on in their struggles.
These chicks are really starting to love me. They have to be on me. It cracks me up. I do love it though. I have never had chickens that tolerated me and sure did not love me. These guys do love me. I do have one that needs to be on my head for whatever reason. I am not sure about that. They are growing up so fast.
I swear I saw a few hawks up on a power station. I could not see that far, so I do not know without a doubt that was what was on that power station, but I think it is a possibility.
I did up going to Lubbock today to help a friend out. It was pouring down rain so much the roads were flooded. On the way home, I stopped by a sunflower field and took some pictures. It was a pretty area.
The horses were eating hay when I got home. My husband had not gotten home yet to start feeding, so I knew the animals were hungry.
Ursula ran out as I was getting groceries and stuff out. She is such a brat. I do love her though.
The chicks were up on my head again. I wonder what they are thinking. Would that not be something to know?
May is looking better. I am so happy about that.
It was a hot evening, but the animals were all doing fine. They all ate and were happy about that.
Noma is looking old and tired. That makes me sad for her.
Fred is still acting off. I do not even know what to say about him. His mannerisms are the weirdest thing I have seen. He does continue to hide.
May even came out of the shop and walked around this evening. She has not done that in so long. Looks like she is healing up. Her right foot and leg will never be the same, but she is up and around. I did get her out of the backyard and put her in with the fainting goats so she could get back in the shop easily when she was ready to.
Tinkerbelle gave me some love and attention. She is the sweetest thing.
The sunset was so beautiful with purples, pinks, yellow, and oranges. West Texas really has good sunsets.
The donkeys all came up to drink before heading to the barn for the night. I love how smart those donkeys are.
I got to love on Yeller tonight. He likes to be cuddled and loved. Athena does not like it at all and Onyx still is not sure.
I did notice there were some thunderstorms moving in and I got to see some lightning. It sure was pretty.
