August 23, 2025

I got to see all the cats this morning when I went out to feed my chicks. One of those chicks is sure brave. That once chick decided to fly out of the coop with 3 cats in the vicinity. I am not sure if the chick is oblivious, has no fear, or is just dumb. Luckily the cats did not see the chick. You can be brave in this life, but you do not have to put your life in danger.
I decided to take a nap today. I do not normally do that, but today I did. Ursula was right up beside me the whole time.
The donkeys and goats all came to visit me while I was out by the fence. They are something for sure.
May came out of the shop to get some fresh air. She is brave, too. Yeller was right there. He is pretty chill though. He wants no part in messing with the chickens.
Jasper’s neck is still big, but it is getting better. I am sure he feels better.
Fred was out wondering around the pasture. It was good to see him out and about on the farm.
I got to love on the sheep. They sure are a couple of sweet animals.
It was another hot day, but it sure has not been as bad as years past. I am so grateful for that.
