Onyx and Athena were watching the chicks closely this morning. It was too close for my comfort. At least none of them flew out when I opened the door.
Yeller was home, too. He was in a different spot though.
I found May in one of the crates. I got her out of there. It is too hot to be in one of those. She seems to be feeling better. Her poor leg looks rough. I know it will never be the same. She is able to walk now though. That is what is important.
Carlos has been lazier than normal. He stayed in the barn while the other two got out to try to get some chicken feed. I did end up giving them some. They were happy about it.
The coop girls are doing fine. There is nothing new going on there.
The donkeys were out by the pigs. The donkeys were watching Ronnie’s every move while he was feeding the pigs.
Oh Lovey sure does love to be up on my shoulder. She really is a pretty chicken.
Jasper still has a lot of swelling in the neck area. It sure is not stopping him from eating. He did allow me to pet him today. It has been a while since he let me pet him. Alex also allowed me to love on him. I sure do love those cows. Jasper’s neck does look like it is fixing to open up, finally. I hope it hurries up.
May would not stay in the shop, so I put her back in with the fainting goats. She seems to be doing fine in there with them.
For some reason, Ursula decided to hide in the bathroom cabinet. I guess she needed a quiet moment. I know we all need a quiet moment every once in a while.
