August 17, 2025

The donkeys were all up by the house. It is always good to see them. Pete acts like he is feeling better.
I saw Athena and Yeller first thing, but no Onyx. I did not freak out about it. I loved on little Yeller. I think he looks for that. He is such a cuddle bug.
Fred was still in the shop when I went to go check. I am glad about that. I did have the smart idea to put some ivermectin on him. We will see how that goes. Do what you can to help others in their time of need.
Lovey and Ollie were up on my shoulders when I went out to feed them. Once they both got up there, they all started flying up to my shoulders. I just find it hilarious. The one that always gets on my head is the same one that will peck my earrings, so I am going to name that one Sparkle Toes. She is an intrusive one for sure.
I finally saw Onyx later in the day. I knew she was fine.
The goats all got some chicken feed. They are spoiled brats for sure. But, why else have them if you are not going to spoil them. I did take Carlos a minute to decide if he wanted any of the feed or not.
The horses got a new hay bale. They are always appreciative of that.
May ended up in the sheep pen where she used to be all the time. I left her there because she seemed to want to be there. However, a little while later, Ronnie told me he had to put her back in the shop because she was getting beat up by the other hens. He knew I would not like that, so he put her back in the shop to keep her protected. We will see how long that lasts.
The animals are all doing well.
