September 12, 2025

May was up on her crate with the sun in her face when I walked into the shop. I am glad she is doing so well.

I did see all the cats this afternoon. They were all over the place. I am just glad to see them.

I gave Rena and Annabeth a chicken treat. I wonder if they will eat it. It was looking like they were not interested.

Fred is still going. He makes me sad. He looks miserable.

The pasture goats were in the barn staying out of the sun. If someone ever tells you goats are dumb, that is so not true.

There are several hornets nests my husband has finally seen and will have to get rid of. Quickly, I hope. I know they have been there a while.

I got to see my pasture donkeys. I do not know what it is about them, but I find them so interesting. Red was resting his head on Pedro. Those two fight quite a bit, but when they need comfort, they know where to go. It is sweet to see. When you need comfort in this life, I hope you know where you can go.

Ollie was up near my head. I was so afraid she was going to peck my eye. I was careful about it. I do not want that to happen again.

I had asked my mom for a recipe recently and she gave it to me. I decided to make some of the treats, and it tasted like home. They were as good as I remembered.
