September 8, 2025

Yeller and Onyx were hiding in the grass. They are funny about that. I wish I knew what they were doing and why. Athena was just wondering around the place.
Cinderella was eating some hay at a fast pace. It is hit or miss with them on hay.
The dogs were still happy laying on their blankets. I sure do love them.
I did get to see the cats when I got home from work also. It is apparent that Athena is still mean to Yeller. I just hate it. I picked him up and loved on him. He is a spoiled brat and I know I made him that way.
Fred is okay. He came back to the pasture barn. Sonny did not hurt him, for now.
Lucky and Hercules were wanting the chicken feed. This is still the only time Lucky will have anything to do with me. Carlos was content in the barn and out of the sun. The donkeys all came over to see if I had left them any corn.
Yeller was sitting right outside the chicken coop doors. I had to move him along. He continued to sit closely to the coop, but it was like he did not pay any attention to what was going on, again. He did not bother the chicks that jump out of the coop every day. I am glad of that though. Showing self restraint and awareness is a good thing. The chicks are getting so big.
Willow did put Yeller on the run later when he went to go get a drink from the goat's water. Willow was creeping up slowly toward Yeller. Yeller took off in a hurry.
Jasper was looking a little sick today. He would not even eat his food. That always worries me. However, when Ronnie came home and put out a new hay bale, he went over to eat that just fine. I am inserting an eye roll here. Ronnie said, "see, he is fine."
I was down by the pig pen feeding and watering them. There are frogs everywhere down there. I could not believe my eyes. Most of them are so small.
Yeller was laying in the backyard enjoying the breeze. Sometimes the outside breeze can give a moment of relaxation if you let it.
The horses got a new hay bale also.
I bought a new hummingbird feeder because mine just looked terrible. I saw a hummingbird on the new feeder. I guess I now have justification for buying a new one.
