Sonny was running around in the rain. I do not know why that rooster means so much to me, but he does.
It is rainy this morning, but who knows how long it will rain around here.
I opened up the mailbox to put in some mail and there was a grasshopper playing hide and seek with me. I mean, how cute is that? How often does that even happen? It made my day. Those little things can make your day better if you let them.
I got to see another rainbow cloud. Those things are beautiful. I see them often because I look for them.
When I got home from work, there sat Athena. It was still rainy looking out and she looked like she had had a rough day. Onyx was under the stools again. Yeller was in the hay.
The clouds were sure pretty. The animals were all acting normal and doing their normal thing. The horses were waiting for food. The clouds were amazing to watch.
Poor Olga was still running around making awful noises. Grief can sure make us do things we did not think we would do. She is breaking my heart.
The donkeys were out in the pasture loving life.
The pigs were staying under the sunshades. They are smart.
I got beat up by a hen again. I was trying to put an egg back under her. She did not like my presence there at all.
Porky was staying under the shelter to stay out of the sun.
Chief pulled his bowl back toward where it was supposed to go for me so I could feed him. I was thankful for that.
Alex is having some allergy difficulty. His poor eyes are watery and bothering him.
There was so much rain today, the mud puddles for the pigs were bigger than ever. There were even a few where they normally were not mud holes. Gus, Treat, and Spam’s shelter was flooded with water. They were not complaining though.
The baby chicks are growing fast. I forgot how fast they grow.
The cats were all home tonight also.
