As I was out feeding, I looked over at the baby chicken coop and saw Onyx right next to it. There was a hen over there, too, for a few minutes checking things out.
It is hot out, but the animals seem to be fine.
The pigs are grateful they have mud holes. That is a must have to keep pigs doing well.
Olga is still running around like she does not have a purpose anymore. She breaks my heart. I know it will get better, but for now she is still grieving her babies. There is a purpose in everything; we may not ever figure out what that purpose it, but there is one. She will learn to adapt at some point.
The donkeys were interested in what the pigs were doing when they were eating. That always makes me laugh. I am glad the donkeys don't just put their head in the pen and try to get to the food.
Willow allowed me to pet on her today. She doesn't always. She is like a teenager who does not want to be told what to do. At least she is cute.
The two cows were laying in the hay. The warmer weather is not doing them any favors, but they are hanging in there. They could be laying under a fan if they really wanted to.
I have a cute little chick that comes at me like she wants to fight every time I go through the gate. It is the funniest thing. I have been picking her up and putting her on my shoulder. She will sit there a few minutes and then she will fly on down. The rest of the chicks are doing well.
I looked out later and saw the sheep and the goats just laying down. I know this will happen for the next several months around here as the weather stays hot.
The sunset was a pretty sight tonight.
