Chigger was stepping on my toes literally. That chick goes after me every time I come into the coop. She is getting big. That is a good thing. One of the other chicks decided to get on my toes also. I guess she was watching the other one and wanted to see what that was all about.
Poor May. I know she is hurting. She did get into the shop to relax. I feel so bad for her. I hope she feels better soon.
The chicks are all growing so fast. They are all doing well.
The pasture goats were staying in the barn and out of the sun.
The bigger pigs were taking advantage of using the sunshade. I do not blame them. It is so hot. The other pigs are doing fine, too. I did spray them with water, a few of them liked that, but a few of them did not.
My husband ended up going out of town to work. As I was out and about, I could not figure out what was taking the water so long to fill up. It was too hot out to wait on all of that. Turns out his truck tire was on top of the water hose and he had the keys out of town with him. Luckily the animals had enough water to tide them over until he could get home.
I was looking for the frog living in the pig pen. He was still there.
The pasture donkeys and goats decided to come away from the barn for some green grass.
I have not been feeling well this week, so I tried to stay in as much as possible. I did work on some projects I had going. That was nice.
I had seen Yeller and Onyx, but I had not seen Athena. I did finally see her as I went out for one last time to let the dogs out.
The fireworks were going off tonight in a couple of different areas. I could see 2 different areas from my house. It was also lightning pretty good as well.
I went to check on May one last time and found she was in the goat shelter with Tinkerbelle and Sonny was actually in there also. At least she was safe.
