It was a warm day. Yeller and Onyx were cuddled up together in the shade. I do get concerned about Yeller and thinking he is lonely. He was good friends with Jelly, but Jelly has been gone for a long time. Athena does not really care for Yeller, so when I see Onyx hanging out with Yeller, it is good for my heart. Turns out Athena was under the porch staying cool. 

You can just tell it is hot out with the animals going slow and most of them laying around looking lazy. I know they are surviving the heat. 

I have one chick that still wants to come at me when I come in the gate. I have to tell you; these chicks are going to be absolutely beautiful. I am excited to see them grown up. My little chick I was worried about looks to be doing good. She is still small, but she is getting her feathers in and is growing. Overall, they are all doing well. 

It sure was a beautiful evening at my house.
