Farm Hand

I have debated on talking about this but decided to go ahead and talk about it. A couple of months ago, I had a kid out here who was a farm hand in the evenings. He helped us out so much. Things turned for him at home and he came to live with us. That was different, having a 16 year old boy living here. He was such a help around the farm. Things don’t always go as planned. This kid had plans for his future. He had plans for the upcoming school year while living here with us. He was getting things together and getting excited about his future. We were trying to help him get to where he wanted to be. One day I came home from work and he was gone. I know he was with his family but it hurt for it to all go down that way. I have to remember we planted some seeds and hope he gets to where he wants to be. Life is not always easy, but we have to remember that when seeds are planted, we do not always get to see the things that grow from those seeds.
