Well, we had a string incident off the hay bale. I thought I got it all when I cut the string off the bale, I thought I got it all. I guess I left a couple. I got home and one of my chickens had a string wrapped around her leg. This is farm life. She was in distress and she was trying to get free. I do not know how long she had been that way. She wasn’t there that morning. I was able to cut the string off but she would not let me examine her foot. She has been limping quite a bit after I cut it off but she was roosting with the other chickens after that. I hope she continues to be okay.
