More Straw

I should buy stock in this compressed straw they have here in Texas. I think that is what all my paychecks are going to right now. It’s nothing like last year but I feel the need to keep these pigs in straw. I mean they do need it when it’s cold out. I know their shelter is much warmer than out in the elements and wind but I want them comfortable. The pigs love it. I brought some bundles in the pen today and Darla was trying to break it opened on her own. I ended up just cutting open the bags and letting them spread it out. They love to do that and it’s enrichment time for them.
