Castration Day

The plan was to have all the donkeys fixed in one day to get it all over with at once. We got everything prepared. The day came. It was a hot day already. Once the vet saw Pedro, she said she didn’t feel like it was a good idea to do his surgery since he had some swelling. I really thought that would happen. Red went first with the surgery. Let’s just say thing did not go as planned. Red is fine but it was a long surgery. We decided it was too hot for the donkeys and the vet to do the other 2 on that day. We rescheduled for later in the year. Red is the one that is the worst trying to get to Noma, so with him being fixed, things will calm down some. The rest will be taken care of soon.
