Red’s Surgery

Red’s surgery did not go as planned. Poor little guy. The vet did everything correctly. When she finished everything looked good. Then Red started bleeding more than he should. The vet got back down on the ground and started searching for the vessels that were bleeding. She finally found them and was able to suture them to get them to stop. I cannot say enough good about this vet. She fought with Red to get a halter on him. She waited until Red was back up on his feet and she helped us switched pens for Pedro and Red so Red had the fans on him. She wanted to make sure he was fine before she left. The vet’s office called me today to check on him. Red was sleepy most the day after surgery. He was able to eat and drink after surgery. We were still watching him closely but looks like he is going to be okay.
