Good Momma

I have to say, Rena is an excellent little momma. It’s almost like she counts her babies and makes sure she has them all before she moves. She is protective like I have not seen before. She is an amazing momma. I love to watch her. The hens make noises at their chicks to get them moving. She makes sure they move when she makes those noises. She uses her wings to move the chicks to make sure they go where she wants them to go. She really is an amazing mom. I haven’t seen the other hens going to those links for their chicks. She has not lost a one of her chicks. She still has 11.
