Mattie’s Smarts

Mattie is the smartest little guy. I mean, he is extremely smart. As Ronnie and I were out feeding, Ronnie started watching Mattie. I started looking to see what he was looking at. Mattie had the chain on the lock on Red’s pen in his mouth and had literally unlocked it. I’m not really sure how he did it, but he did it. He looked proud of himself. Ronnie went over and locked it back and Mattie ran off. I hope he doesn’t do it again but it’s obvious he is smart and may end up doing it again. This little bundle of joy is certainly what we needed around here. He is a spitfire, full of love and smarter than his own good. The adventures with Mattie have just started.
